03/2008 :: Potter-Randall 9-1-1 District located in Amarillo, Texas has purchased additional licenses of the MapSAG™ 9-1-1 GIS Data Management System in order to create and maintain accurate 9-1-1 and GIS data . Also included is the Mapbook Extension.

This extension will import data from Lubbock County, the City of Plainview and the City of Abernathy into the SPAG Enterprise GIS database.

01/2008 ::The Rio Grande Council of Governments selected Contact One to provide detailed 9-1-1 GIS mapping services and 9-1-1 database reconciliation. The services will cover a vast area in West Texas and include five counties having remote places, cities, and small towns within the Rio Grande COG jurisdictional area. The COG provides services to Hudspeth, Culberson, Jeff Davis, Presidio and Brewster Counties. Rio Grande Council of Governments provides a regional forum through which local governments can address issues and develop solutions that contribute to intergovernmental cooperation, improved coordination of activities and promote programs which make the region a better place to live, work and play. Included in the COG area is the world famous Big Bend National Park.
